Terms of Use for Favicon.now Tools

Use the tools responsibly, retain rights to submitted artwork, control optional sharing, and verify generated assets before deployment.

Rules for using Favicon.now responsibly

  1. Your artwork and permissions

    You retain responsibility for artwork, URLs, names, and other material you submit. You must have the rights and permission needed to process, publish, and distribute the resulting favicon files. Public availability of another site’s icon does not grant copyright or trademark permission.

    Favicon.now does not claim ownership of your submitted artwork. Generated technical files do not remove third-party rights that may exist in the source design, typeface, emoji rendering, logo, or brand.

  2. Responsible tool use

    Do not submit malicious files, attempt to bypass upload or network safeguards, disrupt the service, automate abusive request volumes, or use the checker and extractor to probe systems you do not own or have authorization to assess.

    The public-site tools are intended for ordinary deployment verification, authorized migration, asset recovery, and technical research. They do not provide permission to reuse another organization’s artwork.

  3. Accounts and saved projects

    Google sign-in is optional and is provided for saving favicon projects. Keep control of the Google account used to sign in, do not attempt to access another user’s projects, and promptly sign out of shared devices. Favicon.now may limit saved-project counts or remove abusive content to protect the service.

    You are responsible for project names, attached website URLs, artwork, and settings saved to the dashboard. Delete projects you no longer want retained. Account availability and storage are provided without a guarantee of permanent archival service.

  4. Public sharing and attribution

    Sharing is off by default. When you enable it, anyone with the random URL can view the saved preview and download its generated package until you turn sharing off. Do not publish confidential artwork, misleading website associations, unlawful material, or content that violates another party’s rights.

    Webmaster badges are optional, visible, removable, and nofollow-qualified by default. Do not hide them, distribute them through compromised sites, post automated comments, or use Favicon.now tools to create deceptive or manipulative link schemes.

  5. Verification and compatibility

    Generated packages, code, reports, and guidance must be tested in your production environment. Browsers, operating systems, frameworks, search engines, hosting platforms, and caches can change independently and can produce results outside the tool’s direct control.

    A passing report describes the checks completed at that time. It does not guarantee search display, indexing, browser selection, legal suitability, uninterrupted service, or compatibility with every historical or future client.

  6. Availability and external services

    The service may change, experience errors, impose protective limits, or become temporarily unavailable. External documentation and platforms linked from the guides are controlled by their respective operators and may change without notice.
